A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.
This website has been created in response to ESSO & UGL's tactics used to undermine the working wages & conditions of the their loyal contractual maintenance workers.
Upon completion of a successful 7 year contract and the winning of a further 7 year contract, UGL set up a subsidiary company MTCT Services Pty Ltd (An on paper company only).
Instead of continuing business as usual for a further 7 years, UGL saw fit to sack the entire workforce and then offer them their jobs back (the very next day) under the title of MTCT Services Pty Ltd.
There was only one catch, It would be at the cost of eroding conditions that had been built up by the employees over a number of years previously.
Signing up to MTCT Services Pty Ltd would see the workers face
Once again we see a company decline to negotiate a good & fair EBA with their workers, but have an EA signed in WA by three individuals only that will never be employed under these conditions.
These conditions are then presented to the workforce in a "Take It or Leave It" approach.
UGL along with ESSO, are exploiting a legal loop hole in the system which is being used to undermine wages & conditions. This tactic is rife across Australia and was recently highlighted in the CUB dispute.... Battle Of The Brewery.
This is not only an attack on the work force, but an attack on the surrounding communities that rely on money being spent in their shops, their business, theirs schools etc.
It is a direct attack on our Families, our Mothers, Fathers, Sons & Daughters.
As mentioned previously, this tactic is now being used all across Australia. When and Where will it Stop???
We believe that time is NOW!!!
It's time for Australian Workers to say NO!!!
It's time for the community to say enough is enough!!!
We the workers of the ESSOUGLy Dispute are not going to stand for this!!!
We are committed to Stand Up for What we value
& Who we value.
IT'S TIME TO STAND UP AUSTRALIA, FIGHT BACK!!!
Where in the world is Exxon Mobil? Where have they hidden
all their profits so they can avoid paying tax in Australia?
Play the game here to find out
Standing Proud with Australian Families
14 March at 11:30–12:30 (UTC+11)
495 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
We have run a national campaign to hold this greedy tax cheating company to account.
ExxonMobil have made $24.8 billion dollars in the last three years but paid no company tax in Australia. They are appearing before the Senate Inquiry into Corporate Tax Avoidance in Melbourne to answer for their actions.
As well as sucking Australia dry and not paying there fair share, they are slashing wages and conditions for Australian workers.
We'll be out the front of the Senate Inquiry venue, standing up for working families, making noise and putting the spotlight on their tax avoidance and their slashing of our wages and conditions.
Expect some fun and surprises as we tell this greedy corporation it's time to pay up.
Given EXXON MOBIL are the focus of the Senate Enquiry
(Into Coporate Evasion of Tax ) this Wednesday 14th March 2018, we thought
it appropriate to re-post this commercial from last year.
8 March 2018
261 days. That's how long the AMWU members at Longford have been locked out. Today two delegates from the picket, Troy and Steve, addressed AMWU members at UGL Maintrain. Management wouldn't let them in the site so we had it out the front. See Post Here
Thank you Marion Harper from the Unitarian Church, who was inspired to
write an article in the Beacon Publication while visiting us back on day 200.
A very well written article raising awareness to the fact that all worker entitlements have been won by the union and their members.
Not being gifted by greedy companies such as Exxon Mobil and UGL.

“Ann Sudmalis claims she and her Coalition Government have been
getting on to tax avoidance by big companies, but Exxon has not paid
a single cent in company tax since the Liberals came to office".
In a statement this week responding to the MAKE EXXON PAY campaign,
Ann Sudmalis said “The information is untrue” and that the campaign seeks to “fool the general public with robo calls with patently untrue information”.
“We challenge her to disprove any of our claims, which are based on publicly available information from the Australian Tax Office and have been reported
n the Sydney Morning Herald and The Guardian.
We are surprised that an experienced MP would seek to dispute facts from
the tax office of her very own Government”.
“Ann Sudmalis is too busy making excuses for a foreign multinational corporation to crack down on them, while our local schools and
hospitals are desperate for funding.

LOOK NO FURTHER - WE ARE LIVING PROOF
A Trickle Down Economy Doesn't Work!!!
EXXON MOBIL ARE THE 10TH LARGEST COMPANY IN THE WORLD BY REVENUE. THEY HAVE MADE RECORD PROFITS WHILE
POSTING THEIR LARGEST EVER GAS SALES IN AUSTRALIA.
BUT THAT IS NOT ENOUGH. THEY HAVE PAID NO CORPORATE TAX IN AUSTRALIA ON $25 BILLION MADE FROM OUR RESOURCES.
NOW THEY WANT TO;
1. REDUCE CONTRACTOR WAGES BY MORE THAN 30 PERCENT
2.TERMINATE/ABOLISH THEIR EMPLOYEES EBA
3. CASUALIZE THE WORKFORCE
4. INTRODUCE NON FAMILY FRIENDLY ROSTERS
5. CONTINUE TO NOT PAY A CENT IN CORPORATE TAX
DROPPING THE CORPORATE TAX RATE (AS MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES
LIKE EXXON MOBIL PROPOSE) REPRESENTS NOT ONLY A $65 BILLION HANDOUT TO THEIR CORPORATIONS, BUT ALSO GENERATES;
LESS DISPOSABLE INCOME FROM WAGE THEFT,
LOST TAX REVENUE FROM THOSE WAGES,
LESS GST FROM THOSE DISPOSABLE INCOMESWHILE WERE AT IT, LET'S IMPORT GAS FOR THE AUSTRALIAN
DOMESTIC MARKET WHILE BEING THE WORLDS LARGEST GAS EXPORTER
250 days... 250 more reasons to stay!!!
200+ families making a stand against Exxon Mobill/Esso & UGL's
corporate greed by attempting to implement;
-30% to 40% Drop in Wages
-Cuts to Annual Leave
-Cuts to Allowances
-Cuts to Shift Loading
-Harsh anti-family shift rosters
(eg. from 1 week on & 1 week off, to 5 weeks on & 1 week off)
-Stand Down Clauses
(Which would see employees at work, but unpaid)
-Cuts to Superannuation
-Full Casualization of the Workforce
-Removal of Representational Rights
-Removal of Demarcation of Trade Classifications
-Sub Contracting at the complete discretion of the company
Jenny McAllister has some words for companies like Exxon Mobil
who are cheating Australia and politicians like Malcolm Turnbull
who try to cover up for them.

Rob Mitchell - MP Federal Labor Member from McEwan.
Taking our fight to parliament again, after witnessing first hand the determination of the workers (with mortgages and families to feed) to fight Exxon Mobil and UGL's corporate greed and tax cheating on behalf of every Australian Worker.
Rob points out the disgusting lengths at which Exxon Mobil have gone by hiring thugs 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week (for well over 7 months straight) to intimidate, agitate & harass the workers.
These sad rotten individuals film the workers and their families without consent, under the direction of Exxon Mobil who "apparently" take zero tolerance to these behaviors.
Rob Mitchell understands the need to #changetherules in order to protect Australian working families. Thank You Rob!!!
Ever wondered what Exxon’s billions of missing taxes could have paid for?
Our union summer interns together with Esso/Exxon workers descended on the CBD today to see what Melburnians thought of Exxon’s tax dodging.
Turns out they weren’t happy to learn just how many nurses, teachers, students or apprentices could have been employed had Exxon paid their fair share of tax.
